PETALING JAYA: Police have nabbed 16 individuals for failing to observe social distancing, says Senior Minister (Defence) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
PETALING JAYA: Police have nabbed 16 individuals for failing to observe social distancing, says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob .He reminded members of the public and industry players, especially those involved in transactions, to observe social distancing and personal hygiene to avoid spreading Covid-19.
Police also found that 1,455 Malaysians, who had returned from abroad, were abiding by the home quarantine order. On Tuesday , 477 Malaysians returned from abroad from China, Indonesia, Qatar, India, Thailand, and Japan."From May 1 to July 14, a total of 1,598 illegal migrants, 526 tekong , and 110 human trafficking suspects had been nabbed," he said."The government will take stern action against those crossing the border illegally. Enforcement agencies will continue tightening border control, especially the rat lanes," he said.
