The Korean government has revealed that it has finalized 164 projects of the National Corruption Project's phase 1 tasks after the task force was formed last April to address corruption and its techniques. After selecting 500 initial tasks and considering their importance and urgency, the government has subdivided these 164 tasks into 5 categories: 'structurally wrong practices', 'procedural irregularities', 'unfair advantages', 'compatibility with law and regulation', and 'incompatible with national morals'. Also, the government has provided urgent stop-gap measures, such as requesting the head of the Commission for the Promotion of Women and the Gender Equality and Family Fairness to request an urgent stoppage order for illegal family photos, in order to prevent the disclosure of photos of private individuals without their consent. The government also aims to improve the transparency and effectiveness of legal review procedures to deal with sudden and significant policy changes such as KCON-type post- pensado reforms. A high degree of intelligence is required due to the secrecy trade practice and its complications. President Moon Jae-in ordered the army to try to stop the inappropriate parklands, which is a major issue surrounding North Korea's nuclear program and is allegedly being violated, through national authority. Among the 164 tasks, the task force is working to implement projects to raise awareness of safe driving among elder adults, to prevent traffic accidents, and to improve road security measures.

앞서 정부는 지난 4월 고착화한 불합리와 편법을 바로잡기 위해 '국가정상화 태스크포스'를 출범시킨 바 있다. 정부는 TF 논의를 거쳐 500개 과제를 우선 발굴한 뒤 적절성과 시급성 등을 고려해 1차 과제를 확정했다. 이번에 확정된 과제들은 ▲ 구조적 비리·비위 ▲ 법망을 피하는 편법 행위 ▲ 부당이득 편취 행위 ▲ 현실과 유리된 법령·제도 ▲ 국민 정서와 괴리된 법령·제도 등 5가지 유형으로 분류된다. 또 피해자가 있는 불법 촬영물 등에 대한 신속한 삭제를 위해 성평등가족부 장관에 긴급차단요구권을 부여하는 방안도 담겼다.

이와 함께 고속도로 휴게소 다단계 구조 철폐, 대형 담합 범죄 엄단, 매점매석행위 차단, 범죄수익 환수 고도화, 불법 스포츠도박의 스포츠 토토 전환, 동물보호센터 임시보호제도 도입, 오피스텔·다세대주택 관리 개선, 군 복무 사망사고 국가 책임성 강화, 국유재산 무단 점유 근절 등도 추진한다. 정부는 이들 과제 가운데 '여름철 해수욕장 파라솔 이용료 표준화' 등 국민이 일상에서 즉각 효능감을 체감할 수 있고 신속히 성과를 낼 수 있는 과제들은 즉시 개선에 착수한다.
특히 '건전한 산림사업법인 시장실서 확립' 등 구조적 비위·비리 분야의 과제 가운데 중대 사안으로 판단되는 사안에 대해선 국무총리실에서 직접 현황 조사와 실태 점검을 실시할 예정이다. 정부는 이후 하반기에 바로 2차 과제 선정·추진 작업에 착수하며, 추진 결과는 연말·연초의 다음 업무보고에서 국민에게 알린다는 계획이다.
